The Women's Open Championship Fours graced Greytown BC on November 11th and 12th, with an impeccable green and delightful weather setting the stage for two days of enjoyable bowling.
In the Women's event, the team of Tracey Jacobson, Angela Rose, Fiona Alexander, and Stacey Smyth (composite) emerged victorious against the team of Dale Lloyd-Stanton, Therese Meyrick, Janalle Frew, and Tanya Wheeler (composite), securing an 18-7 win.
This outcome marked a reversal of fortune from the qualifying round the previous day, where Wheeler's team had the upper hand. However, Smyth's team, featuring three juniors and three members on their journey to their first center title, sought and secured revenge when it mattered most.
