Bowls Academy
The Bowls Academy is dedicated to elevating the skills of players at all levels. Established with the vision of fostering excellence in lawn bowls, our academy provides structured training programs designed to help players refine their techniques, develop strategic thinking, and gain the confidence needed to compete at higher levels.
Whether you're aiming to improve your overall game, master specific skills, or aspire to join representative teams, our academy is designed to provide the tools and environment to help you succeed.

We encourage those interested in playing representative bowls to actively participate but the sessions are open to anyone. Attendance at every training session is not mandatory, participants who are unable to attend are encouraged to engage in self-training outside of these sessions to still benefit from the program.​ Attendance at the first session is recommended even if you are unable to make subsequent dates. If you are interested in the academy but unable to make the suggested dates, please still register your interest using the Bowls Academy form and let us know.

Dates and venues are still to be confirmed, but below are some tentative dates. The plan is for the venues to rotate among the various clubs within the centre.

Weds 9th Oct - 5.30pm to 6.30pm
Weds 30th Oct - 5.30pm to 6.30pm
Thurs 14th Nov - 5.30pm to 6.30pm

Weds 18th Dec - 5.30pm to 6.30pm
Weds 8th Jan - 5.30pm to 6.30pm
Weds 15th Jan - 5.30pm to 6.30pm​​
