A Historic Victory at the WKWM Tournament

What an extraordinary day it was for Wairarapa in the Junior 1-5 WKWM tournament! Our talented bowlers competed against Wellington, Kapiti, and Manawatu under perfect weather conditions at the Foxton and Beach Bowling Club for the women and the Levin Bowling Club for the men.

Both the Men's and Women's teams secured victories in their fixtures, culminating in a resounding overall triumph and claiming the coveted trophy and spoils. This remarkable accomplishment is particularly noteworthy, considering the last time Wairarapa seized the trophy was over 25 years ago.
